There are unlimited mirror shapes out there now and it can be a bit confusing to decide what one. Here is my take on how some of the shapes impact the design in a space.
Rectangle: been there, done that. There are so many other options now, why are we going with a plain rectangle?
Rectangle soft corners: but this, I can get around. Adds a level of sophistication and a subtle hint of style without fully committing to an alternative shape.
Pill: Modern and stylish. Great for adding some height when the wall needs a bit more of an impact.
Round: Can be great for a small space! Does not take over the wall and can make a subtle impact focusing on the practically of the item. Think powder room.
Arch: The most popular shape right now. Seen a lot in homes that are leaning in to the neutral tones and also the Mediterranean vibes
Oval: This shape fits perfectly into a Modern Victorian space. Great in old Queenslander that are leaning into the timely design of the home.
Organic: Not the most popular yet - but I have high hopes. I love how these can feel less repetitive than some of the more commonly seen shapes.
So - do you have a favourite?
